This edition of Employment Law has been updated and now provides all the developments in the law since the publication of the third edition, including the Employment Act 2002. A series of statutory instruments and Council Directives have been implemented since the previous edition - some of these have led to changes to existing legislation, whilst others have introduced a number of new rights such as the new rights to paternity and adoption leave and pay, protection for part time and fixed term workers and the right to flexible working.
